• First established as the Office of Equity at the start of the 2020-2021 SY to support the District’s mission of becoming a more diverse, equitable and inclusive school organization, the Department of Student Equity & Access serves to ensure the LPS PK-12 learners have equitable access to educational opportunities through learning experiences, programs, resources and services provided by the District. 

    The Department of Student Equity & Access works closely with school administrators, district leaders, and stakeholder groups to shape, promote, and implement the strategic plan while promoting a culture of inclusion. In collaboration with other departments within the organization, we aim to build an equitable and inclusive culture for all students and families.
