     JJK Friendship Scholarship

    This local scholarship through the JJK Memorial Foundation is in honor of 3 friends who passed away in a car accident in 2001. Applicants must be planning to further their education, and an essay about friendship is required. You can check out the requirements and application at this LINK. 
     
    The deadline to apply is April 22nd, 2022! 

  • THINGS TO REMEMBER 

    Scholarships are a great way to get extra money to help pay for college expenses.  Keep these things in mind to help you in the process: 

    • Many scholarships go unclaimed due to lack of applicants
    • Take advantage of this by applying for scholarships
    • The schools you are applying to may have automatic scholarships based on your GPA, class rank, and/or GPA
    • Go to college websites to see if you qualify
    • Use independent search sites (located on this site) for additional scholarships 
    • Remember this process will require a bit of work
    • Get busy and start applying!

    • Parents' place(s) of business
    • Your job!
