    Assistance League Of Kansas City Scholarship

    Assitance League of Kansas City is offereing Scholarships to academically promising High School Seniors who have demonstrable financial need to attend a college, univeristy, or technical school/program located in the State of Missouri starting summer or fall 2021.     Braxton Rethwisch Scholarship

     The Missouri Association for College Admission Counseling (MOACAC) is pleased to offer the Braxton Rethwisch scholarship to high school seniors who exhibit a commitment to learning and have demonstrated leadership skills and community service involvement.     2021 Elizabeth Spelman Health Career Scholarship awards twelve scholarhsips in the amount of $2,000 to applicants that reside in Clay, Platte or Clinton County. To be eligible for consideration, applicants must be a high school senior, entering a college or university in the fall of 2021 with a declared major in a health-related curriculum.

    Scholarships are a great way to get extra money to help pay for college expenses.  Keep these things in mind to help you in the process: 

    • Many scholarships go unclaimed due to lack of applicants
    • Take advantage of this by applying for scholarships
    • The schools you are applying to may have automatic scholarships based on your GPA, class rank, and/or GPA
    • Go to college websites to see if you qualify
    • Use independent search sites (located on this site) for additional scholarships 
    • Remember this process will require a bit of work
    • Get busy and start applying!
