Course Selection Information
Enrollment for the 21-22 School Year has begun! To access information about Course Selection, the Course Catalog, Liberty Pathways, Graduation Progress information and Timeline Information please visit the LHS Counseling Website! All of this information can also be accessed on the JayBlock course on each student's Canvas. Counselors will begin individual meetings with students to review their course selections this week!
VIRTUAL STUDENTS and PARENTS/GUARDIANS: Virtual students will have the opportunity to confirm their course selections with their counselors by signing up for a Zoom meeting. There will be 5 days offered for Virtual students to meet with their counselor. These days are: Wednesday January 27, Wednesday February 3, Tuesday February 16, Wednesday February 17 and Wednesday February 24. Are you interested in joining the military? LHS will be providing the ASVAB for interested students on February 9 at 8:30AM. Limited to the first 15 students. Click here to register. The last day to register will be Friday, February 5th!
Accuplacer Testing at LHS!
Are you interested in the Early College Academy for next year? Are you a senior planning to attend Maple Woods next year? The Accuplacer test can be used as the test for admission to both. You can also take the ACT. The Accuplacer can be taken virtually by contacting Maple Woods. Maple Woods Virtual Accuplacer registration. Or you can take the Accuplacer at LHS on February 17 at 9 AM. Limited to the first 40 students. LHS Accuplacer registration. You will need to apply to Maple Woods before you can take the test. Apply to MCC here. The last day to register will be Monday, February 8th!
NCAPS Application & Virtual Shadow Day
If you'd like to apply to NCAPS for the 2021-22 school year, the application is now available through the NCAPS website. Applications close February 26th. Join individual strands to meet with current associates by clicking here. Intended audience: students interested in joining us in 2021-22. The first Shadow Day is January 27 at 11 am. There will be two additional Shadow Days on February 10 and February 24.
NCAPS Parent Night
Meet and greet format with all of our strands. Intended audience: Parents of students interested in joining us in 2021-22. Platform: Airmeet – Requires laptop with Google Chrome web browser. Parent Night is February 1st at 6 pm and join the meeting by clicking here.
Community Scholarship Program Application Deadline!
Seniors--the deadline of February 5 is fast approaching for you to turn in your LPS Community Scholarship application. There are over 60 scholarship opportunities for LHS and LNHS Seniors ONLY. All information can be found on the LHS Counseling Website. See your counselor for questions!
