    Summer School 2018


    Grades K-8 Dates: June 4 - June 29 

    Enrollment Opens: February 6 at 9:00 a.m.

    Liberty Public Schools offers a Summer School program  for students entering Pre -Kindergarten through 12th grade.  This program is designed to both enhance student skills in the core curricular areas while also providing opportunities to enrich and explore areas of interest.  Interactive hands-on activities  are delivered around exciting themes throughout the curriculum.  

    Bulletin:  The Missouri General Assembly may adjust funding for summer school at any time.  As a result, the Liberty Summer School program may be adjusted or modified based on available state funding.

    Welcome to Kindergarten

    Kindergarten Bus Orientation: The Liberty Public Schools Transportation Department is offering a Kindergarten Orienation for summer school students on June 1st at 9:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m. at the Support Services Building located at 801 S. Kent Street.  

    Students will learn about bus safety and take a short ride on a school bus.  For more information please call the Transportation department at 816-736-5360.

    Kindergarten Orientation: Friday, June 1st at 10:00 a.m.

    All Summer School Sites will hold an orientation for all incoming Kindergarten students enrolled for Summer School. Your child will be emailed a Kindergarten packet in late May with more Summer School details. Kindergarten Summer School is a full day program for students entering Kindergarten in the fall.  Each day will consist of a variety of literacy and math activities designed to ensure a smooth transition into Kindergarten. The curriculum will focus on classroom awareness, community building, and problem solving with peers and adults.
