Dr. Matthew Krohne
Dr. Krohne has spent his entire career in education with Liberty Public Schools, dating back to 2004 when he was a third grade teacher at Ridgeview Elementary. Along with serving as a third grade teacher, he was a fifth grade teacher at Warren Hills elementary from 2006-2014 before becoming an Innovation and Learning Coach at Alexander Doniphan Elementary and Liberty Oaks Elementary from 2014-2017. He has most recently served as an assistant principal at Warren Hills Elementary (2017-present).
"I am honored for the opportunity to serve teachers, students, and families as Principal of Lillian Schumacher," said Krohne. "Schumacher has a strong reputation of supporting students with an impressive staff. I am excited for my family to become Schumacher Sharks."
Dr. Krohne earned his Bachelor's degree from William Jewell College, his Master's degree from Northwest Missouri State University, and his Doctorate degree from William Woods University.

Dr. Emily Griffin
Dr. Griffin earned her undergraduate and master’s degrees from Northwest Missouri State University, an Education Specialist degree in Administration from Arkansas State University, and recently graduated from Saint Louis University in May of 2023 with her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership.
Outside of school, Dr. Griffin can be found spending time with her family and friends, playing tennis or pickleball, attending sporting events, traveling, or reading a book!

Ms. Jaysa Hartman
Ms. Jaysa Hartman, is entering her eleventh year in education. Her entire professional career has been in the Liberty School District. She is excited to begin her first year as an Assistant Principal here at Lillian Schumacher and Franklin Elementary. Her career began at Ridgeview Elementary where she taught fourth grade for eight years, and fifth grade for two years. Ms. Hartman is currently working towards her Specialist degree in Superintendency from Northwest Missouri State University. She received a Master’s degree from Northwest Missouri State University in 2015 and a Bachelor’s degree from Avila University in 2012.
Outside of school, Ms. Hartman can be found spending time with family, reading, and traveling. Her daughter, Brielle, is a 6th grader at South Valley Middle school. Ms. Hartman enjoys watching Brielle play basketball and volleyball.
Ms. Hartman is eager to begin partnering with families and students at Schumacher this year!
