  • Career Center Shadow Visits Are Going Virtual!

    Northland Career Center

    Students in the eighth, ninth and tenth grades and their families are invited to NCC's virtual Open House! This event will be an opportunity for families to find out more about our 12 programs by speaking with instructors and current students. Our Open House will be divided into three days based on career paths, but you can attend all three days if interested in multiple programs!  

    Link/number to each program's virtual event will be posted on Northland Career Center's website,, the day of the event. Please drop into the call any time between 4-5:30 PM or 6-7 PM! There will be a break between 5:30-6:00 PM. Instructors will be unavailable during this time.


    • Tuesday, January 12, 2021 4-7pm - Industrial Welding, Diesel Technology, Construction Technology, Heating, Cooling & Climate Control
    • Thursday January 14, 2021 4-7pm - Aviation Technology, Production Technologies, IT Professionals, Agricultural Sciences
    • Wednesday January 20, 2021 4-7pm- Teaching Professions, Health Sciences, Culinary Arts, Law Enforcement/CSI

  • About Career Center

    LHS has established partnerships with two different career centers in the Greater Kansas City area. Each career center offers programs geared toward high school juniors or seniors. Applications to attend these career centers will be made available during the Course Selection period. For details about each career center, please click on the icons below:
