    Section 504 Frequently Asked Questions

To ensure the safety and health of our community, IEP and 504 teams will not meet in person while school buildings are closed. Students who are currently in the special education or 504 evaluation process may experience a delay in results for assessments and/or observations that require face-to-face interaction until schools reopen. Evaluations and reevaluations that do not require face-to-face assessments or observations may take place while schools are closed via online platform or phone with parental consent. If you have questions pertaining to your child’s Special Education needs, please contact your child’s case manager or the building principal. Questions related to your child’s 504 plan can be sent to your child’s school counselor.
