Technology Support

  • Instructional Technology in Liberty Public Schools focuses on using the benefits of technology as a learning tool to learn in a multisensory environment and to help students critically analyze more in-depth information and connect with audiences across the world.

On this site you will find useful links, tutorials and other materials that will help you be successful as an online learner.

All Liberty Public School District students will be issued a device. Students in Grades K-8 will be issued iPads and students in Grades 9-12 will be issued a Macbook Air. All devices will come with a standard charger and case.

  • LPS issued devices will be handed out for Liberty Virtual School students at your home school. Please make sure you check their website and watch your email for more information.

  • If students do not have access to wireless, please either call the LPS Technology HelpDesk at (816) 736-7078 or fill out a student workorder and you will be contacted by a district technology specialist.

Technology Issues
  • When experiencing technology issues there are a few troubleshooting tips you can try:

    • Restart your device
    • Software related issues should be shared with your instructor to ensure the problem isn't an issue with the content on the Canvas course
    • Hardware related issues can be handled by either calling the LPS HelpDesk* at (816) 736-7078 -OR-
    • Submit a student workorder to report the issue and gain assistance from your home building's Technology Specialist

All technology assistance will be coming from your home school unless otherwise instructed. If you are receiving an error message on your device, please capture the image with a screenshot to share with our LPS Technology Specialist.

*If leaving a voice mail for the HelpDesk after hours, it might not be returned until the next working day.
