KC Tech Academy
at the Northland Career Center
The Kansas City Tech Academy provides students the opportunity to be workforce reacy with a well-paying and highly sought after technical skill right after high school with little or no student debt. The KC Tech curriculum is structured by industry and instruction is provided by a combination of professional educators and real-world subject matter experts. Admissions Rerquirements:
1. Complete the online application during the application window. For the 2022-2023 school year, the window is now open and will remain open through the first week of school next year (or until all seats in the KC Tech Academy are filled). Students applying via the Northland Career Center by February 17th have a better chance of being placed in the program.
2. While there are no set admissions requirements to attend the KC Tech Academy/NCC, there are limited seats. For this reason, the KC Tech Academy/NCC staff use an Enrollment Scoring Rubric that looks at your attendance, GPA, Career Goals, participation in visiting/Shadowing the program, and the date by which you submitted your application.
3. Note - students are not gaurunteed a placement at the KC Tech Academy at the Northland Career Center.
