      Students earning a 3.5 to a 4.0 grade point average will be recognized at high school graduation.
      Summa Cum Laude
      Grade Point Average: 3.9 to 4.000 
      Magna Cum Laude
      Grade Point Average: 3.7 to 3.89 
      Cum Laude
      Grade Point Average: 3.500 to 3.69
       
      Valedictorian and Salutatorian Recognition
      Students receiving the distinct honor of Valedictorian and Salutatorian will be recognized at high school graduation. 
      Valedictorian 
      Earns an A in all classes enrolled. 
      Salutatorian 
      Earn an A in all classes enrolled with the exception of one where they can earn a B.

  • Weighted GPA

    Current students in the Class of 2024, 2025, and 2026, will be granted a weighted GPA based on certain coursework completed throughout high school. This weighted GPA will only be provided to colleges and universities to assist in scholarship/admission consideration. All Liberty Public School academic honors/awards will continue to be based on a student's unweighted GPA. For a list of courses that will earn additional GPA points towards a weighted GPA click HERE
