We work behind the scenes to keep schools running, so teachers can teach and children can learn.
Objective
Facilities and grounds have a total of 162 employees working toward maintaining and serving 20 school sites and 3 support buildings. We provide Maintenance, Grounds and Custodial Services. The objective of the Custodial Department is to maintain a safe, sanitary, and healthy environment for both staff and students. The purpose of grounds is to maintain large lawn, landscaping and sports field and turf areas that support the educational goals of the District. The the objective of the Maintenance Division is to maintain, throughout its expected useful life, the interior and exterior of school buildings, and all mechanical systems and subsystems through preventive maintenance and repairs.
