STEAM RECOGNITION FOR SENIORS - APRIL 17th

LPS would like to recognize senior students at LHS and LNHS who are pursuing a major or career in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, or Math). It's intent is to recognize those students pursuing a 4 or 2 year college degree, obtaining industry certification, or going to the workforce in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, or Math field. This is a way for Liberty Public Schools to honor students and their families for their future choices in STEAM. Academic and Athletic scholarships and honors will not be recognized at this event, as a separate ceremony is held for these accomplishments.

In order for students to participate, students must do the following:

    1. Notify your counselor of your desire to participate by submitting the attached application form by April 1. (Forms are also available in the Counseling Office.)
    2. Provide a short paragraph about what you intend to study or your work plans.

*Guest speakers from Kansas City companies who support the work and further endeavors with any STEAM degree or field.
