Dr. Precious Kurth
PrincipalDr. Kurth began her career teaching Special Education and ELA in Cameron, MO. She later returned to her alma mater, Lafayette High School, in St. Joseph, where she also taught ELA, Advanced ELA, Creative Writing, coached the dance team and sponsored Student Council. Before coming to Liberty, she served as Principal at Robidoux Middle School, in St. Joseph. Dr.Kurth has also taught graduate courses for Northwest Missouri State University and Rockhurst University. Dr. Kurth received her undergraduate degree from Missouri Western State University, her master’s from Northwest Missouri State University, and her doctorate from Baker University. Her son, Xavier, completed his student teaching with LPS and graduated in December 2018 from Northwest Missouri State University with a degree in physical education and health. Also worth noting, Xavier played on the Northwest Men’s Basketball Team and contributed to their Division II National Championship in 2017. Xavier is currently working on his master’s degree, in educational leadership, at Northwest and is a Graduate Assistant for the Men’s Basketball Team, having earned his second Division II National Championship in March of 2019. A fun fact about Dr. Kurth is she is an avid fan and collector of Hello Kitty.

Dr. Lee Allen
Dr. Lee Allen believes that raisin student achievement, valuing and supporting faculty and staff, and living the mission and vision of the LIberty Public Schools, serves as the foundation of Liberty North High School student success. A native of Kansas City, MO, Dr. Allen brings to Liberty North a total of 18 years experience in education as a teacher, coach, and administrator. Dr. Allen earned his bachelor's degree in Engineering from Virginia State University, his Master's and Education Specialist from the University of Missouri - Kansas City, and his Doctorate of Education from the University of Kansas. Dr. ALlen is the proud father of two wonderful children, Lee Jr. (16) and Haley (11).

Mrs. Lisa Fletcher
Mrs. Fletcher is entering her 14th year as an administrator in the Liberty Public School District. Previously, she served as an Assistant Principal at South Valley Middle School and South Valley Junior High School. Since 2013, Mrs. Fletcher has been an Assistant Principal at Liberty North High School.
Mrs. Fletcher was born in Brooklynn, New York, and later graduated from Blue Mountain High School in Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania. While working in the airline industry for 7 years, Mrs. Fletcher also attended college full time and graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Mathematics Secondary Education. She earned her Master’s Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, and her Educational Specialist Degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City.
When Mrs. Fletcher is away from school, she enjoys her time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Opportunities to travel, any athletic activity, and eating/cooking are her passion. Faith, family, and friends are what brings her peace.

Dr. Rosemary Camp
Assistant PrincipalDr. Camp is starting her first year as an Assistant Principal and her 25th year as an educator. She serves as the Assistant Scholar Bowl Coach and previously taught chemistry at both Liberty North and Liberty High School.Dr. Camp grew up in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and is a graduate of Westside High School. She attended Arkansas State University on a Trustee’s Scholarship and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology Education. Dr. Camp earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Arkansas State University and her Educational Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. Dr. Camp’s Doctoral Degree is from William Woods University in Educational Leadership.When she is not at school, Dr. Camp enjoys reading, traveling, watching movies, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. Mr. Brandon McCoy
Mr. Brandon McCoy is excited to be in his first year at Liberty North High school. Mr. McCoy brings experience as a teacher and band director or assistant director in the Excelsior Springs School District, Raymore-Peculiar School District, and most recently, the North Kansas City School District. Mr. McCoy received his Bachelor of Music Education from Missouri Western State University. He holds a Master of Education and Specialist degree, both in secondary administration, and his completing his doctorate from William Woods University.

Mr. Bob Kernell
Athletic DirectorBob Kernell began teaching and coaching at North Kansas City High School running the Marketing Education program and coaching three sports. He graduated for Central Missouri State University (known as UCM now) with a degree in Marketing Education. After completing his Master's in Education at Park University he completed his Education Specialist in Administration at William Woods. He returned back to Park University and taught Sports Law in the Education Masters program. After 18 years at Northtown, Mr. Kernell went to Lee's Summit West as an assistant principal, followed by moving to Liberty Junior High as assistant principal and athletic director. Chosen to lead the Eagles Athletic Department in 2010, he has seen the opening of the school and all the tremendous growth since. His wife Michele, is a 29 year veteran LPS teacher. His three sons are all eagles, Zac (2013), Luke (2016) and Drew (2022).
