• Dr. Precious Kurth

    Dr. Kurth began her career teaching Special Education and ELA in Cameron, MO. She later returned to her alma mater, Lafayette High School, in St. Joseph, where she also taught ELA, Advanced ELA, Creative Writing, coached the dance team and sponsored Student Council.  Before coming to Liberty, she served as Principal at Robidoux Middle School, in St. Joseph.  Dr.Kurth has also taught graduate courses for Northwest Missouri State University and Rockhurst University.  Dr. Kurth received her undergraduate degree from Missouri Western State University, her master’s from Northwest Missouri State University, and her doctorate from Baker University.  Her son, Xavier, completed his student teaching with LPS and graduated in December 2018 from Northwest Missouri State University with a degree in physical education and health. Also worth noting, Xavier played on the Men's Basketball Team for Northwest Missouri State University and contributed to their 2017 Division II National Championships in 2017 and 2021. Xavier completed his Master's Degree in Applied Science in 2020 and is currently serving as an Assistant Coach for the Bearcats. A fun fact about Dr. Kurth is she is an avid fan and collector of Hello Kitty.  Dr. Kurth has served Liberty North since 2015.

  • Dr. Lee Allen

    Dr. Lee Allen believes that raising student achievement, valuing and supporting faculty and staff, and living the mission and vision of the Liberty Public Schools, serves as the foundation of Liberty North High School student success.  A native of Kansas City, MO, Dr.  Allen brings to Liberty North a total of 20 years of experience in education as a teacher, coach, and administrator.  Dr. Allen earned his bachelor's degree in Engineering from Virginia State University, his Master's and Education Specialist from the University of Missouri - Kansas City, and his Doctorate of Education from the University of Kansas.  Dr. Allen is the proud father of two wonderful children, Lee Jr. (18) and Haley (13).

    Mr. Lane Green

    Athletic Director

    Mr. Lane Green enters his second year at Liberty North with 26 years of experience in athletic administration; most recently the District Director of Athletics for the Blue Valley School District in Overland Park. A native of the Kansas City area, Mr. Green received his Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas where he served as a student manager for the men’s basketball team. He received his teaching certification from Avila University, Master’s in Education from the University of St. Mary, and Certification in School Leadership from Baker University. 

    A former high school basketball coach, Mr. Green has served on the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) Board of Directors, the NFHS Hall of Fame Selection Committee, and as President of the Kansas Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association. He has served as a presenter for the NAIA Champions of Character Program and presented workshops at the National Athletic Directors Conference on numerous occasions. 

    When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and watching the Jayhawks, Chiefs and Royals. Mr. Green and his wife, Susan, have two children – Joe (20) and Susie (18).

  • Dr. Rosemary Camp

    Dr. Camp is committed to structuring learning opportunities for all students in her role as Assistant Principal at LNHS.  She is in her fourth year as an Assistant Principal and her 28th year as an educator.  Previously, she taught chemistry and coached Scholar Bowl at both Liberty North and Liberty High School.  
    Dr. Camp grew up in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and is a graduate of Westside High School.  She attended Arkansas State University on a Trustee’s Scholarship and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology Education.  Dr. Camp earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Arkansas State University and her Educational Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Missouri - Kansas City.  Dr. Camp’s Doctoral Degree is from William Woods University in Educational Leadership.
    When she is not at school, Dr. Camp enjoys reading, traveling, watching movies, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.  After the LN Eagles, her favorite sports teams are the Royals and the Chiefs.

  • Dr. Brandon McCoy

    Dr. McCoy is excited to begin his third year at Liberty North High School. He brings experience as an educator in the Excelsior Springs School District, Raymore-Peculiar School District, and North Kansas City School District.

    Dr. McCoy received his Bachelor of Music Education from Missouri Western State University. He holds a Master of Education and Specialist Degree, both in secondary administration, and his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from William Woods University. 

    Dr. McCoy is a native of Kansas City, where he currently resides with his wife and three children. When he’s away from school, he enjoys mountain biking and coaching his children in youth sports. He is a huge fan of Kurt Vonnegut books and Wes Anderson films, and of course, the Chiefs!

  • Mr. Josh Baldwin

    Mr. Baldwin is beginning his 9th year in education, all of which he has served in the Liberty School District.  He began his teaching career at Alexander Doniphan Elementary School where he taught 5th grade.  He transferred to Liberty in 2015 as a Social Studies teacher. Mr. Baldwin has piloted two innovation instructional programs, Humanities and North Nation by Design.

    Prior to working in education, Mr. Baldwin worked in the non-profit sector of Kansas City serving as the Director of Recruitment for a local agency for two years.  In 2016 Mr. Baldwin graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a Masters in Education in Administration.

    When he is not at school Mr. Baldwin enjoys spending time with his four kids, Sutton (9), Reagan (7), Magnolia/we call her Noli (5), Connally (3) and his wife Meghan.  They love traveling and are partial to the mountains of Montana and the sunshine of Florida.  Mr. Baldwin also enjoys eating good food from the Kansas City area, watching the Royals and Chiefs in his spare time.
