What are the Kid's Zone business office hours?
Posted by:The Kid's Zone business office is open from 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday thru Friday.

Will my child be allowed to attend Kid's Zone on a part-time basis?
Posted by:Kid's Zone does not have a part-time or drop-in care option. Fees allow for care five days a week, Before & After OR Before Only OR After Only.

Who do I call when my child is absent from Kid's Zone in the afternoon?
Posted by:Best practice is to contact the school office and the Kid's Zone Site Manager. Please feel free to email the Site Manager directly or call and leave a message on the site phone.

Who do I contact if I need to add someone to the authorized pickup list?
Posted by:Authorized pickup changes can be made by either contacting the Site Manager, or the Kid's Zone business office, via phone or email.

How do I change or add information to my child's enrollment / account?
Posted by:You can send an email to kzoffice@lps53.org or call 736-5378. In most cases, Kid's Zone requires a two-week advance notice for changes in enrollment.

How can my child attend Non-School Days?
Posted by:Non-School Days are not included in your regular tuition or enrollment. You will be contacted via email notifying you that a non-school day enrollment has been opened. You can complete the sign-up form and the $35 will be due on the next monthly bill.

What payment methods are accepted to pay tuition?
Posted by:Kid's Zone accepts checks or credit cards. Credit cards are the preferred method of payment.

What is the process if I need to drop my student from the program?
Posted by:Kid's Zone requires a two week advance notice for any drops to enrollment. Please contact the Kid's Zone business office by phone or email to submit your notification.

Do you offer fee assistance?
Posted by:Fee assistance is available to qualifying families in need and is generally contingent on Free or Reduced Lunch status. Limited funds are available and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Do not hesitate to contact the Kid's Zone office for more information.

Does Kid's Zone accept State Assistance?
Posted by:At this time, Kid's Zone does not accept any subsidy payments, including state assistance.

Is there Transportation to/from the school?
Posted by:Kid's Zone currently has a program in each elementary school, so students stay in the same location all day, and transportation is not required. During Summer Camp and some Non-School Days, there could be field trips scheduled, and the LPS Transportation Department will provide transportation.

If I have a concern with something that happened at Kid's Zone, who should I contact?

Can I drop my student off from the car, or do I need to escort them to the door?
Posted by:For safety reasons, Kid's Zone requires that all students are escorted to the drop-off door with a parent, guardian, or authorized pick-up person and check in. Kid's Zone does not allow for a curbside drop-off.

Does Kid's Zone provide homework assistance?
Posted by:Kid's Zone staff may be available to assist the student with homework as time and rations allow. A+ students are sometimes available and may assist as well. Kid's Zone also allows parents to choose how they would like homework handled with their child.
