• Project-Based Learning 

    Project-based learning creates an opportunity for EDGE students to connect coursework with real-world issues. Students study a variety of global issues, study the interdisciplinary factors influencing these topics, and design solutions and ideas for taking action. This method of learning allows students to deeply explore topics, apply content knowledge and skills to real-world challenges, and leverage learning to make an impact in the world.

     

    Project Highlight: EDGE students studied concepts around the United Nations Sustainability Goal 12: Sustainable Consumption and Production. Through research, collaboration, and experiential learning, EDGE students compiled a climate action plan for the Liberty Public School District and surrounding areas, which is available here:
