All enrolled students have a meal account in Liberty Public Schools.
Parents are encouraged to register for a free account at SchoolCafe, so you may monitor their account balance, set low balance emails, set ala carte (snack) restrictions, complete the Family Education Benefit application for free or reduced meal benefits, or make payments to your student’s meal account.
If you make payments through this portal, the web company does charge a 5% fee per transaction. To save this fee, you are welcome set up Nutrition Services using your bill pay service with your bank or to send cash or a check (made payable to Liberty Nutrition Services) to school with your child. When doing so, we ask that the cash or check be placed in an envelope with the student’s name and “lunch” money marked on the outside.It can be handed to our Nutrition Services staff before school,
When registering for a SchoolCafe account, parents will need their student’s ID #. It is located on letters from Nutrition Services and can be accessed in Power School. We can also help you identify the number by calling 816-736-5375. Students use the 6 digit PIN number they use to login to their Ipad/computer for identification at meals.
