Summer Reading

The multiple ways for students, families and staff to participate in summer reading are highlighted below. 
Check your school library website for more details!

 

  • Check out books for the summer at your school library before school is out or during summer school.

  • Participate in your school library's summer reading program--find out more from your LPS librarian or on your school library website.

Participate in the social media campaign #LPSCaughtReading throughout the summer!

 

  • Read ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines all summer long! 
  • Login with Google single-sign-on using your LPS credentials.

  • Visit Mid-Continent Public Library in-person or online to participate in the Summer at MCPL program, June 1-August 24.   
  • Woodneath Library Center and Withers Branch are the two libraries that serve Liberty Public Schools' students and families.

 

beanstack

 

  • The Beanstack reading engagement platform is used by LPS and Mid-Continent Public Library to provide readers an opportunity to track their reading and complete reading-related activities. 
  • Students can link their LPS and MCPL accounts and participate in both programs at the same time. 
  • Get started by logging in through Clever.
  • Find out more or get help in your school library or at the MCPL's Withers or Woodneath libraries.
