LPS Return to Learn Information
Thank you for visiting our Return to Learn/COVID-19 web page. Following a successful summer school session, work is now fully underway as we prepare for a safe and successful 2021-2022 school year beginning Tuesday, August 24, 2021.
As we look back to the many challenges the COVID-19 pandemic brought during this past school year, we must express our gratitude to our entire LPS community who came together to allow for a successful school year. As has been the case since the very beginning of the pandemic, we also need to express our appreciation to our local public health agencies and share that we will remain committed to staying in close contact with them as we develop our plan for the fall. Below, you will find the most recent School Guidance that was shared by the Clay County Public Health Center on June 10, 2021.
We plan to share our 2021-2022 Return to Learn information to families in the coming weeks. At this time, it is our full intention to provide five days per week of in-person learning for all students during the 2021-2022 school year and we are also planning for the continuation of our Liberty Virtual School for those families who would prefer this option.
Please continue to monitor District communication over the course of the summer as we will continue to share information that might be of interest to our staff and families. Thank you for your continued patience, grace, and flexibility as we continue to navigate through this unique period of time. Have a great remainder of your summer!
