2026-2027 Back-to-School Events, Conference Schedule
Liberty Public Schools will have several opportunities to touch base with teachers during the 2026-2027 school year.
The first of those events is Back-to-School Night and registration/orientation. Midway through each semester there will be parent/teacher conferences to connect again.
Dates for the 2026-2027 school year are listed below.

The Board of Education approved Dr. Andy Schuerman as Director of Special Programs, Dr. Carrie Gabriel as Assistant Principal at Discovery Middle School and Joseph Eveland-Pulido as Assistant Principal at Shoal Creek Elementary.

Liberty High School freshman Andrew Beltran captured the individual boys Class 3 singles state championship at the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) Tennis Championships.

Dr. Courtney Dickerson is the new Discovery Middle School principal, and Chad Brinkmeyer is the new Liberty North High School assistant principal.

Liberty Public Schools would like to recognize and thank our 2026 class of retiring staff members. With 60 staff members headed on to their next adventure at the end of this school year, there's a lot to celebrate!
