2026 National Merit Finalists

2026 National Merit Finalists

Liberty Public Schools is proud to announce five students have been named 2026 National Merit Finalists.

At Liberty High School, Matthew Fang, Michael Fang and Eleanor Henderson were named finalists.

At Liberty North High School, Bryce Harms and Tyler Johnson were named finalists.

These students qualified to be semifinalists by being in the top 1% of PSAT/NMSQT test takers when they were in their junior year. They went on to be finalists based on their academic record, administrator recommendation, ACT/SAT score and essay writing.

These five seniors will now be in the running for National Merit scholarships and to be named Merit Scholars.

Congratulations to these outstanding seniors, as well as the other semifinalists who were announced earlier in the year!
