6 LPS Employees Receive Excellence in Education Honors
The Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Excellence in Education banquet on Wednesday night, May 1, 2024, and six LPS employees were recognized with honors.
Danielle Hayes of Lillian Schumacher Elementary, Marie Goeglein of South Valley Middle School and Michelle Herrig of South Valley Middle School were recognized for Excellence in Classroom Teaching out of nearly 100 Northland nominees.
Pam Davidson of Liberty High School, Gary Majors of the District Administration Center and Crystal Holthouse of the District Administration Center were recognized for Excellence in Service to Education out of over 80 Northland nominees.
Liberty Public Schools is proud to have so many outstanding staff members recognized as being some of the best in the Northland.
We are also proud of all 20 nominees LPS was able to take to the banquet for their dedication to our staff and students. Those names are below.

The Liberty High School boys wrestling team secured its sixth straight Class 4 State Championship on Saturday, March 1, 2025.
