Allegri named MO Middle School Principal of the Year

Dr. Reagan Allegri was surprised Thursday morning, January 22, 2026, with the news that she was named the Neal Penberthy Middle-Level Principal of the Year by the Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals.

Students and staff quietly lined the halls while Dr. Allegri was in a meeting. When she came out, she was greeted with a band, confetti, a parade and surprise visitors.

Allegri won the Greater Kansas City Middle-Level Principal of the Year, which made her eligible to move on in the state competition.

She will now be part of the national competition and will go to Washington D.C. to be honored with the other 49 state winners.
