BOE Candidate Filing Closed
Filing for candidacy in the upcoming April 8, 2025, Liberty Public Schools Board of Education election officially closed earlier this week.
Incumbents Karen Rogers and Dan Currence were the only individuals to apply, meaning that with two positions available, there will not be a need for an election in April.
Both Ms. Rogers and Mr. Currence will officially be sworn into their respective three year terms at the regular April Board of Education meeting.

Several Liberty Public Schools students are being recognized for their fine arts talents. Dozens of students will be representing the district as members of the All-State Band, Orchestra, Choir, Children's Choir and All-State Theater performance.
