Heritage Middle School to Celebrate Building's 100th Year
Heritage Middle School will celebrate 100 years of history with an open house on Saturday, April 13, 2024.
The event will be held from 9-11 a.m. and will feature student-led building tours, a look at upcoming renovations, a tribute video and more.
Anyone is welcome to attend the open house.
The building was originally Liberty High School. It later transitioned to hosting 8th and 9th grade students as Liberty Junior High School. Now, Heritage Middle School is home to 6th, 7th and 8th grade students before they move on to Liberty North High School.
Current and former staff will be on-hand at the open house as well to meet visitors and greet alumni.

Several Liberty Public Schools students are being recognized for their fine arts talents. Dozens of students will be representing the district as members of the All-State Band, Orchestra, Choir, Children's Choir and All-State Theater performance.
Incumbents Karen Rogers and Dan Currence were the only individuals to apply, meaning that with two positions available, there will not be a need for an election in April.
The Ayrie yearbook from Liberty North High School is one of only 35 yearbooks from across the entire U.S. to receive the award.
LPS has selected 16 staff members to represent the district as Excellence in Education nominees.
