Liberty Sapphires Capture 15th Missouri State Championship Title

The Liberty Sapphires continue to define excellence in Missouri high school dance, earning their 15th Missouri State Championship Title in the past 17 years, an extraordinary legacy of talent, discipline, and determination. The latest title came Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Kansas City's Municipal Arena.

This season, the Sapphires delivered standout performances in both Pom and Lyrical, capturing first place in each category. Their combined scores secured the coveted Division 6 Overall State Title, reaffirming their position as one of the premier dance programs in the state.

Excellence in the Classroom

The Sapphires’ achievements extend far beyond the dance floor. The team proudly brought home the Division 6 All-Academic Team Title, finishing with an impressive 3.896 team GPA (3.947 weighted). This honor, based on the average GPA of current sophomores, juniors, and seniors, highlights the team’s unwavering commitment to academic success.

Every member of the team earned All-Academic honors, with special recognition going to the following students for achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA:
