LMS Earns DESE Exemplary School Library Designation

Congratulations to the Library Media Center at Liberty Middle School for earning the prestigious Exemplary School Library Program designation from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Only six secondary school libraries across the state were given the distinction for 2024-2025.

The title is awarded after a rigorous scoring process, where the library must earn 38 out of 42 possible points to achieve exemplary status.

Categories included in scoring are instruction, leadership, library environment, library management and staffing.
