LMS Student Wins University of Missouri Music Composition Competition
Chace Curtis was chosen as a COMP 2024 winner for her composition titled "Red Leaves."
Chace won 1st place in the "Popular Genres, Acoustic” category of the Creating Original Music Project at the University of Missouri.
In recognition of her musical achievement, she was awarded $1,000. LMS received $1,000 as well.
Chace performed her song and received her award at the Creating Original Music Project Festival on April 20, 2024, at the Sinquefield Music Center at the University of Missouri.
Her composition can be heard on Spotify, along with other works she has written and performed.

Ms. Jaysa Hartman was appointed to be the next principal at Warren Hills Elementary, Ms. Ashley Assman was appointed to be the next assistant principal at the Liberty Early Childhood Center, Ms. Kali Young was appointed to be the next assistant principal at Alexander Doniphan Elementary and Mr. Devin Springer was appointed to be the next assistant principal at South Valley Middle School
