LPS Celebrates 2026 Retiring Class

LPS Celebrates 2026 Retiring Class
Liberty Public Schools would like to recognize and thank our 2026 class of retiring staff members. With 60 staff members headed on to their next adventure at the end of this school year, there's a lot to celebrate!
The annual LPS Retiring Staff Reception and Program will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at South Valley Middle School. The reception portion will begin at 4:15 p.m. in the cafeteria. Attendees will then move to the performance space for the program at 5 p.m.
At the ceremony, the 43 staff members who chose to attend will be recognized and receive their retirement bell. All are welcome to join us for the celebration.

Dr. Courtney Dickerson is the new Discovery Middle School principal, and Chad Brinkmeyer is the new Liberty North High School assistant principal.

Due to significant HVAC upgrades and construction at the Liberty Public Schools District Administration Center (DAC), located at 8 Victory Drive, Liberty, MO, all DAC staff will be temporarily relocated for the summer months.

If your student is currently enrolled in Liberty Public Schools, the Returning Student Registration will need to be completed by August 1st, 2026.
