LPS Selected to participate in prestigious Carnegie Foundation initiative

LPS Selected to participate in prestigious Carnegie Foundation initiative

Liberty Public Schools has been selected to participate in a groundbreaking new initiative led by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, joining a distinguished group of school systems from across the country working to reimagine student success and advance innovative educational practices.

LPS is one of just 24 school systems in the country participating in the Future of High School Network.

This partnership highlights Liberty Public Schools' commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in education, while aligning with its strategic vision to prepare learners for a rapidly evolving world.

“We are extremely honored to have been selected to participate in this initiative,” said Dr. Jeremy Tucker, Superintendent of Liberty Public Schools. “The Carnegie Foundation carries with them an incredible reputation and we are excited to partner with them in this journey.”

Through this collaboration, LPS will engage in transformational work that promotes deeper learning outcomes, equitable access to quality education, and expanded opportunities for all students. The initiative will bring together educators, researchers, and thought leaders to design, test, and scale breakthrough approaches to student learning and school improvement.

Participation in the Carnegie Foundation’s initiative reflects LPS’s ongoing efforts to innovate and lead in the field of public education. The district looks forward to sharing progress and learnings with the broader educational community in the months and years to come.
