Welcome to Liberty Public Schools Nutrition Services
LPS will continue to provide free meals to all learners 2021-2022 school year. Breakfast and Lunch are no cost, and during the 2021-2022 school year, meals do not need to be pre-ordered. Breakfast will be served at convenient locations as students arrive to school. Lunch will be served in the cafeteria with safety measures in place and will not require a pre-order for in-person students (except Liberty Academy).
For our Liberty Virtual School students, LPS Nutrition will have free, 5-day meal packs available for pick up every Tuesday. These kits contain 5 breakfast and 5 lunch meals in kid-friendly formats. This service will be provided at two locations every Tuesday: South Valley Middle School from 8 am-9 am and Liberty North High School from 9 am-10 am. See our "School Meals at Home" page for more information.
Meals will not be pre-ordered but will be selected in the cafeteria by your student.
The Nutrition Services team for the Liberty Public School District is represented by a staff of over 120 well trained, dedicated women and men. We provide high quality, nutritionally balanced, and affordable breakfast and lunches to more than 12,000 students daily across our district. Join your student for breakfast or lunch to see what we are all about!
The Liberty Education Foundation has launched a fundraising effort to pay off meal debt accrued by Liberty Public Schools families throughout the district who now qualify for free or reduced meals. LPS is committed to serving all students a breakfast and lunch so that learning is always first priority in our students minds. To help continue to provide these meals to all, your donation is appreciated!
Graduating seniors with account balances may also donate the remaining balance to this fund! Call our office at 736-5375 to complete this step. Click the link to learn more about the Liberty Cares Fund or to donate! https://libertyeducationfoundation.org/studentmeals
