Our Vision

The Liberty Public Schools Board of Education formally adopted the updated Strategic Plan in the Fall of 2023.  Below, you will also find the most recent edition of the  Vivid Vision and Graduate Profile.  These plans are living documents, will be updated annually, and will guide LPS into the future in an effort to provide learners with innovative, real-world experiences.

Vision 20/20

Liberty Public Schools introduced the community advisory committee, Vision 20/20, during the 2011-2012 school year.  The Vision 20/20 Team's mission is to facilitate communication, advise, and partner with the LPS Board of Education, Superintendent, and community to ensure a successful and innovative school system that maximizes each student's potential.  Vision 20/20 will meet at least twice annually with meetings no longer than two hours each.

If you are interesting in becoming a member of Vision 20/20, you are encouraged to contact LPS Director of Communications Dallas Ackerman at 816-736-5317.
