Achievements

Liberty Public Schools is extremely proud of our students and staff for the numerous accolades they bring to our district at a state, regional, and national level on an annual basis. We know that none of this would be possible without our supportive families and community. LPS continues to be a destination district for families, and below are just a few reasons why:

• Member of the prestigious League of Innovative School Districts
• Named one of Best Communities for Music Education for nine consecutive years (2012-2021)
• Recognized for implementation of Project Lead the Way in every district building (K-12)
• Consistent state championship success on the athletic/performance fields. Recent state championships include:  Liberty North HS Volleyball (2020), Liberty HS Boys Wrestling (2020), Liberty HS Dance (2021), Liberty North HS Cheer (2020), Liberty High School Baseball (2021) and Liberty North High School Baseball (2022)
• LPS is home to the 2021 Missouri School Counselor of the Year, Brenda Wiederholt
• LPS is home to the 2019 Missouri Superintendent of the Year, Dr. Jeremy Tucker
