Reading Award Program For 1st & 2nd Grade Readers
Each year, Missouri school children in grades 1-2 vote for their favorite book from a list of nominated titles. The Show Me Readers Award is awarded to the author of this book by the Missouri Association of School Librarians. All of these nominees will be read to 1st and 2nd grade students this school year, and they will get to vote for their favorite book. Their vote will count towards which book nominee will receive this award for the state of Missouri.
