    Building Block Award Nominees

    Reading Award Program For Kindergarten Readers

     

    Each year, Missouri schoolchildren in kindergarten vote for their favorite book from a list of nominated titles. All of these nominees will be read to kindergarten students this school year, and they will get to vote for their favorite book.  Their vote will count towards which book nominee will receive the Building Block Award for the state of Missouri.  The link above gives some ideas for activities you can try at home to build on what your child is reading in the library.
