Dr. Julie Moore, Assistant Superintendent of Leadership & Learning Communities

Dr. Julie Moore is the Assistant Superintendent of Leadership and Learning Communities for Liberty Public Schools in Liberty, MO.  In that role, she works directly with building leaders on the implementation of district initiatives that impact student learning.   Julie has spent 26 years serving in public education, 20 of those years for Liberty Public Schools.  She also spent six years in the classroom as an ELA teacher and working with at-risk students. Julie holds a PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis, an Educational Specialist, and a Masters in Learning and Instruction from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is happily married to her husband, Lance, and together have a son whom they adore.  Her passions include playing with her son, watching sports, and shopping.  Dr. Julie Moore wholeheartedly believes that education should give every student the access and opportunity to reach any goal they dream of achieving.

Dr. Jeanette Westfall, Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Design

Dr. Jeanette Westfall is the Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Design for Liberty Public Schools in Liberty, MO. Jeanette has been an elementary classroom teacher, high school language arts teacher, gifted & talented English/humanities teacher, and secondary schools instructional coach. Dr. Westfall also served as a high school principal for nine years before joining Liberty Schools. She has been an educator for over 20 years. Westfall’s degrees include a Doctorate in Education from the University of Missouri, a Master of Arts Degree in Education from Baker University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Texas State University. She is married to Kurt Westfall going on 36 years, has two sons who are too far away for their parents own good, and three perfect grandchildren. Her passions include being with her husband, spending time with her family, and traveling.  Dr. Jeanette Westfall wholeheartedly believes that education is found in everything we do and should be celebrated for the awesomeness, inspiration, and amazement that it brings to us every day.
