LHS Cheerleaders Champs Again!

The Liberty High School Varsity Cheer team competed at the Missouri State Cheer Competition on Saturday, December 1, 2018.  The team placed 1st in the Class 5 Large Varsity division for the 10th consecutive year! The team, led by ten seniors, qualified for state at the Kansas City Regional Competition last month.  Senior Kayla Watkins was also named to the Missouri All-State Cheer Team. The team now turns all attention to an event this weekend in hopes of qualifying for the National High School Cheer Competition in Orlando, FL in February 2019.  


Team Members include: Penelope Anderson, Mary Barnes, Michaela Brooks, Lyrah Buddemeyer, Grace Buehler, Maddison Clark, Fatima Curiel, Aly Dupin, Isabella Filardo, Aubrey Fleckal, Delaney Fowler, Meghan Fullerton, Angel Graflage, Lexi Hurley-Gray, Claire Hussey, Carrington Kudrna, Maddie Larson, Abbie Luetke, Mattie Martin, Abby Nickell, Mitchelle Rader, Emily Scholl, Gabby Scott, Kayla Watkins, and Meg Weaver.


The women are coached by Brenda Moats (Head Coach), and assistants Daisy King and Belinda Ambrose.
