LPS to Recognize Retiring Class of 2022
Liberty Public Schools has announced the Retiring Class of 2022 and will be officially recognizing those who have committed to attending the Retiring Staff Reception & Program on Thursday, May 19, 2022. The event will take place in the Liberty High School Performing Arts Theater, beginning at 4:30 p.m., with an opportunity to congratulate the retirees, followed by a formal program beginning immediately following at 5 p.m. In all, LPS has 45 retirees who have announced their retirements at some point during the 2021-2022 school year.
"This is always the bittersweet event of the school year for all of us," said LPS Superintendent Dr. Jeremy Tucker. "We cannot thank each of these individuals enough for the dedicated service they have provided to our students, staff, families, and community. They will all certainly be missed, but we are also excited for what the future holds for each of them."
