LNHS's Dr. Precious Kurth named MCSA Supervisor of the Year

Liberty North High School principal Dr. Precious Kurth has been named the Missouri School Counselor Association (MCSA) Supervisor of the Year for the 2022-2023 school year. 

The award is given to outstanding administrators who "provide exemplary support and advocacy of school counseling programs in the evaluation process."

Dr. Kurth was chosen because of her innovative and creative approach to her leadership. 

"She finds ways to connect teachers to their passions and thinks outside the box regarding learning structures and approaches," the announcement read. 

Dr. Kurth will be celebrated at the MCSA Conference this fall during its awards ceremony. 

She was previously recognized with the regional award at the spring awards ceremony for the Greater Kansas City School Counselor Association. 

"Beyond a doubt, Dr. Kurth has left an indeliable mark on the culture of Liberty North High School, and we are better for her influence and leadership," staff said.
