LPS Announces Excellence in Education Nominees

Every year, the Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce holds a banquet and awards ceremony to recognize some of the best people working in education in our area.

There are two categories that see districts nominate staff members. Those are Excellence in Classroom Teaching and Excellence in Service to Education. The teaching category encompasses those with a certificate to do what they love, like a classroom teacher, counselor or library media specialist. The service category includes those who may or may not be in a classroom, but whose role is important to keep the school day going.
