Jenn Bauer (Board Member)
Jenn Bauer earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology, and a paralegal certificate from Rockhurst University. Upon graduation, she worked at Husch Blackwell for 10 years, managing corporate, real estate, and banking cases for three firm partners. In 2011, Jenn became a small business owner, opening two Sarpino’s Pizzeria restaurants. In 2020, Jenn answered the call for substitute teaching by obtaining her Substitute Teacher certification and serving Liberty Public Schools in this capacity until she was elected to serve on the LPS Board of Education in April 2023. Jenn spent the last 10 years volunteering her time at LPS in various capacities. She served on the Heritage Middle School PTSA for six years, and was President for four of those years. In 2021, Jenn was honored with the Missouri PTSA Distinguished Service Award. Jenn is a member of the Liberty Alliance for Youth, a Liberty Education Foundation supporter, and a LPS Youth Mentor. Jenn and her family are active members of St. James Catholic Church in Liberty. Jenn ran for School Board with a vision to cultivate trust and build bridges between district leaders, faculty/administrators, and parents. She believes when these groups work together with a shared vision, clear direction, and earnest responsibility to our students, LPS will provide an excellent educational experience, and draw families to our community. Jenn and her husband John (LHS class of 1989) are parents to Anna (LNHS class of 2023) and Jack (LNHS class of 2026).
