Mrs. Ross is in her 28th year of teaching music. In 2014 she became EPiC Elementary’s Music Specialist. She enjoys every aspect of teaching general music which includes singing, dancing, theory, creating and playing instruments. She also works with district classroom teachers as an Arts Integration Specialist. Her goal is for all students to find their lifelong Fine Art passion!
Mrs. Ross grew up in Oregon and attended Western Oregon State College and has a BS in K-12 Music Education Vocal & Band. She taught K-6 elementary music for 19 years in Portland, Oregon which included general music, beginning band and choir. Her husband’s company, Smithfield Foods, relocated her family to Kansas City in 2012. She has been married for 24 years to her husband Greg. She has 2 sons: Grant, who attends Truman State and Jackson, who will be attending the University of Arkansas. In her free-time she enjoys playing piano, golfing and her 2 labradors, Finn and Elwood.
